Two Meridian ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website twomeridian.in. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it.

1. What We Collect

When you use Two Meridian, we may collect:

• Account data — If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and public Google profile information via OAuth. We store your chosen display name (alias) in our database.
• Game data — When you play in Speed or Reverse mode while signed in, we record your game sessions, scores, and elapsed time to power the leaderboard.
• Usage data — We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised data such as pages visited, browser type, and country of origin. This data does not personally identify you.
• LocalStorage — For guests (not signed in), game progress, sound preference, and theme settings are stored only in your own browser's localStorage. We cannot access this data.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To display your alias and scores on the daily leaderboards.
• To track your game history and personal bests on your Stats page.
• To analyse overall usage patterns and improve the game (via Google Analytics).
• We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — We use Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy applies to data processed on their platform. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Google OAuth — Sign-in is handled by Google. We only receive the data Google provides after you grant permission. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Flag CDN — Country flag images are loaded from flagcdn.com. No personal data is shared with this service.

4. Data Retention

Game session data and leaderboard scores are retained indefinitely to power historical rankings. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us (see Contact below). We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Withdraw consent to data processing at any time by signing out and contacting us.

6. Cookies

Two Meridian uses a session cookie managed by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in. We do not use any tracking cookies beyond what Google Analytics sets. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent sign-in from working.

7. Children's Privacy

Two Meridian is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
